Whe you can, fire off a quick prayer for me..things have been rough latley On the physical end as well as the economic pressures we all fave..my wife (Ann) has been though so much and has been by me side,,,but I know she is about at the end of her rope...I've lefet it all st the bottom of the cross when I we in the hospital

, and I know Jesus heard because He shows me sign after sing...What an awesome GOD we serve . Thanks! Shep1. We are not sure of the sex of either turtle. We assumed, naturally, that since my next door neighbor who own Queen Genie was a girl and I being a boy that it just made sense. In fact I think it would be safe to say that Myrtle and Queen Genie probably didn't know or at least didn't care.. The best looking Alabama Red-Bellied Turtle I've ever seen isn't that much different that the most hideous Alabama Red-Bellied Turtled I've ever seen.
2.They never lived together as a couple except for a 20 minute honeymoon which I recall they spent on opposite sides of the bowl being encouraged to eat wedding lettuce (lettuce pray!).
3.Myrtle died tragically only a few days afterwards when my younger cousin Marcie took a bit out of him thinking he/she was a cookie. Marcie is all grown up, married to a dentist and has three kids of her own, and still doesn't want me to bring it up at the Thanksgiving table (I always do though...a morbid tradition...)
Hey our church is hosting church planting training through DCPI (Dynamic Church Planting International) the schedule, links, and other info is on my web page at www.riverofgracechurch.com under the tab The River's Current - Bring the whole family - we'll feed you and you can stay at our house if you'd like - we can accommodate 4 comfortably and up to 8 UNcomfortably! DCPI's websie is dcpi.org (I'm the web master of that one as well brag brag brag...I ought to listen to my own sermons...)
Stay in touch! Can't wait to hear the details on the wedding. I have a buddy who said the biggeset mistake he ever made was he forgot to tell everyone to sit down, so they stood through the whole thing...no big deal...) I want to know how it goes down though.

Wheeeew! I struggled about my sermon from about last Sunday to late Friday night! I wanted to make a message about Lazarus rising from the grave...I actually wrote 2 of those and abandoned them halfway through! Finally about 10:45pm on Friday night I quickly prayed for help. Wow! He heard and changed my sermon to "The Joy of Jesus in His Salvation" - The words flowed and I had 11 pages in about 30 minutes...He hears us, even the quick and quiet desperate prayers! What an awesome God we serve!
Hows things with you? It's already getting cold here ...yuck. We are thinking about adding a service on Wednesday nights or maybe Saturday nights...a full service that will be geared for ages 16 through college students. Of course ALL will be welcomed, but the message and music will be geared for that age group. Whatcha think?

Great new picture! Are you both singing "Oh Lord, won't ya buy me a Mercedes Benz" ? Ha! I wanted to also invite you and your congregation to use RiverNet...I'm sure you already knew that!
Shep.
I'm done with Sunday's sermon!!! It's "Jesus Groaned" about how God reveals His emotions to us at times and that was made apparent in the story of Lazarus...GLORY! Are you a bi-vocational Reverend? What do you think of being bi-vocational? - I had a great thought! We should swap sermons sometime and see how much we are on the same page...Or else not. If you ever get to the point where you are recoding you're sermon, I'd sure like to hear them! I saw my friend Paul left a comment for you...He is looking to start a church in Decatur, IL. He is a GOOD man. It looks pretty close to Tennessee on the RiverNet map...but this is a BIG nation, and can be deceiving! I hope you and your family are doing well. Did the Jasper Sings thing go off okay? Thank you for all you do!! Keep up the God work! - SHEP (Bonner)
Oke
Keep up the good fight, brother!
