I have been kind of lazy with my keeping up with the Rivernet. Really enjoy hearing from all of you. I am just praising the Lord for how he has taken care of the Okins. We miss them so much, but know that God is going to use them in a mighty way. Pray for our country. The Lord has something to teach us all so keep looking UP!! The Deans

We are doing much better these days; thank you! I got a job yesterday teaching first grade, and I start on Monday! I am very excited although the schools here are much different than Pueblo West. It is such a joy to serve such an awesome, loving, and giving God! Glory be to Him! We think of you often as well. We sure do miss you; and thank you so much for the prayers. We sure do feel your love; even this far away. God bless! ~Ashleigh and family

Hey Bro. Dan and Sister Bernice! I've been thinking of you a lot lately- I'm sure the folks at Legacy are still in good hands. Bernice, your words of encouragement still help me through each day here, and it's getting more comfortable all the time. You sure have been a special blessing to us, and I wish I could've gotten to spend more time with you. We sure miss you all!

Hey guys, thanks so much for emailing. I have been thinking about you guys and the folks at Legacy. I just got a job offer yesterday, no luck for Ash yet though. Also I put a sign in our front yard to hold Wed nite prayer meetings with some success. We had two or more gathered in HIS name (Ash and I and for part of the time each of our kids)
The devil has certainly been attacking us here but we see God working strongly in our lives as well. On one of the first nites here I was really getting down and I found Bonner's message about the furnace. Man, that really put things in perspective and encouraged me. My circumstances didn't change but my attitude did. Its exciting to see God working. . . allowing us to go through adversity in order to grow us in our faith! I don't think I could do it if I didn't trust HIM. HE always provides but HE doesn't always make it easy! Praise God! Anyway, thanks for the quick note to check up on me and let us know that you are thinkin about us. I continue to mention the folks at Legacy and the ministry there and it certainly seems like God is working very powerfully there as well! Thanks a lot and we love you guys!

How has God moved in YOUR life?
I accepted Christ as My Savior many years ago, when I was 12 years old. He has never failed me. I don't know how I would have made it without Him to draw my strength from all of these many years. There have been many valleys and many mountain tops. It is such a joy to know He is there when you pass though the valleys.
